Well, to celebrate my new-look blog, I thought it was definitely time for a giveaway! My ear candy earrings have been immensely popular, so why not win a pair for yourself, or as a gift to give away for Christmas? Perfect!
- Write a comment below, telling me what you look for in a piece of jewellery (eg simplicity, bold colours, etc)
- For an additional entry, blog about my giveaway and spread the bloggedy blog love!
- And if you're keen on a third entry, follow my blog! Surely that's no hardship ;)
Make sure you leave a comment below to let me know what you've done, and links to where you've done it.
Then the winner (yay!) can choose their own style of sterling silver ear candy - stud or hook, and whichever semiprecious stone you wish featured. There are plenty to choose from.
This competition is open to all countries, so tell one, tell all!
Ends Wednesday November 18 2009, at midnight AEST. Good luck!

Hi El, somehow I did not know your gorgeous blog before?Lucky me to find you!!
What I look for in jewellery is something a bit different, quirky, simple and that won't give me a reaction...most earing if it is not gold would itch after a while??So low allergy is a great bonus specially for studs;)xx
Simple, elegant, asymmetric and green or purple on silver. Like this

Very nice.
I've just started following your blog too.
I love vibrant colors and a simple design. Both of the earrings you show above fit that bill. Very cute stuff!!!
I look for sterling silver, cute, kawaii, bold colors & nice gems/stones when it comes to jewelry
Following your blog now
Your ear candy is really a nice and simple design (although I have seen similar ones, but you probably brought this technique to perfection)
So.. what do I look for in a piece of jewelry? Ehm... nothing... Because somehow the jewelry pieces choose me instead of the other way round. They somehow say to me "hey, don't you want me? I bet you want!".
And this happens with any kind of design from simple to curly elaborated. But when I have a chance to choose I prefer everything that's sterling silver and genuine pearls or gems.
I also follow you blog, really like your pieces.
I look for something that's eye catching and original that no one else will have.
I look for craftsmanship. For example the way you wrap the wire is amazing, Very simple and elegant, yet intricate at the same time. I've been following you on Twitter and Etsy for a few days, but somehow I had missed following your blog. I just signed up now. I'll see what I can do about the blog post.
I love big, bold necklaces that incorporate unusual pieces (textiles, vintage bits, etc), and small earrings to go with them.
I love silver and copper findings and I think that decorative wire wrapping and wire crochet is amazing.

Hi! I like simple but still unusual shapes. And since I'm alergic against most of metals I do really care what it is made of.
(I found you in etsy forum and i will be so happy if you could enter my giveaway http://shapesandmemories.blogspot.com/2009/11/giveaway-1.html)

I love when a piece of jewelery is simple but still unique and beautiful.
Hi!! In my jewelry I look for a rustic look, silver is a must and the use of real stones or pearls are a plus. I also love an elegant look as opposed to a flashy look.
this is an awesome giveaway!
Ps. Im a blog follower also!!

I like cool colours, natural elements. Just like those turquoise studs.
I like silver with strong colours- reds, greens, blues, purples. Simple or complicated- it depends on the design. I love rings and earrings.
Hi, I like small, but bold jewelery that is hard for little ones to pull out/off :)

Colour and style are what get my attention. More often it is simplicity that I love.

ps I have a giveaway going on my blog too.
Oooh lovely :)
I generally stick to stoneless jewellery as I love the look of stainless and silver, so crispy and clean!
I'm a bit partial to your turquoise ear candy though....very pretty!

How lucky would I be to win this giveaway!? My favourite stone of all time is amethyst - the really dark ones. And I like simple but elegant and nothing that can catch on things (my dd) easily. Had a look around your blog and will be back for more eye candy i think.
Depending on my mood - I look for something fun, or funky, or classic or understated.
I do look for attention to detail, quality and craftmanship, and harmonious designs.
I love your collection - gorgeous.
Love your earrings they are gorgeous. In a piece of jewelery I look for something that is practical, will mix and match with alot of outfits, beautiful colours and elegant design.
I also follow your blog now
xx Sanch
I love your designs, nice and simple like I like. I look for something not too big and simple. My favorites are french hook styles that dangle. Thanks for the chance!!!!
Simple design, not too big, but definitely not too small either :) And a colour that is fun and pretty.
I tend to prefer the elegant, classic style, but then again sometimes I just love the fun and unusual things. :) I found that hooks work best for me. As for colors, I love the blue to green range (green eyes here). :)
Greetings from Munich,
Birgit

Hi,
Just found this today.
I look for uniqueness in a piece of jewelry...the more unique it is the better. Also, most of my jewelry is simple, with just a dash of color. It also has to be "small" as when I wear it, I'm usually working, and I own a farm.
I followed your blog.
And... I blogged about the giveaway, though it may be a little too late for that...LOL. I posted it to my livejournal blog and here's the link
