First ever giveaway, yippee!

Saturday, November 7, 2009

Well, to celebrate my new-look blog, I thought it was definitely time for a giveaway! My ear candy earrings have been immensely popular, so why not win a pair for yourself, or as a gift to give away for Christmas? Perfect!

Here's what you need to do to enter:
  1. Write a comment below, telling me what you look for in a piece of jewellery (eg simplicity, bold colours, etc)

  2. For an additional entry, blog about my giveaway and spread the bloggedy blog love!

  3. And if you're keen on a third entry, follow my blog! Surely that's no hardship ;)

Make sure you leave a comment below to let me know what you've done, and links to where you've done it.

Then the winner (yay!) can choose their own style of sterling silver ear candy - stud or hook, and whichever semiprecious stone you wish featured. There are plenty to choose from.

This competition is open to all countries, so tell one, tell all!

Ends Wednesday November 18 2009, at midnight AEST. Good luck!

Hi El, somehow I did not know your gorgeous blog before?Lucky me to find you!!
What I look for in jewellery is something a bit different, quirky, simple and that won't give me a reaction...most earing if it is not gold would itch after a while??So low allergy is a great bonus specially for studs;)xx

Your ear candy is really a nice and simple design (although I have seen similar ones, but you probably brought this technique to perfection)

So.. what do I look for in a piece of jewelry? Ehm... nothing... Because somehow the jewelry pieces choose me instead of the other way round. They somehow say to me "hey, don't you want me? I bet you want!".

And this happens with any kind of design from simple to curly elaborated. But when I have a chance to choose I prefer everything that's sterling silver and genuine pearls or gems.

I also follow you blog, really like your pieces.

I love big, bold necklaces that incorporate unusual pieces (textiles, vintage bits, etc), and small earrings to go with them.
I love silver and copper findings and I think that decorative wire wrapping and wire crochet is amazing.

Hi! I like simple but still unusual shapes. And since I'm alergic against most of metals I do really care what it is made of.

(I found you in etsy forum and i will be so happy if you could enter my giveaway http://shapesandmemories.blogspot.com/2009/11/giveaway-1.html)

Hi!! In my jewelry I look for a rustic look, silver is a must and the use of real stones or pearls are a plus. I also love an elegant look as opposed to a flashy look.

this is an awesome giveaway!

I like silver with strong colours- reds, greens, blues, purples. Simple or complicated- it depends on the design. I love rings and earrings.

I generally stick to stoneless jewellery as I love the look of stainless and silver, so crispy and clean!

I'm a bit partial to your turquoise ear candy though....very pretty!

How lucky would I be to win this giveaway!? My favourite stone of all time is amethyst - the really dark ones. And I like simple but elegant and nothing that can catch on things (my dd) easily. Had a look around your blog and will be back for more eye candy i think.

Depending on my mood - I look for something fun, or funky, or classic or understated.

I do look for attention to detail, quality and craftmanship, and harmonious designs.

I love your designs, nice and simple like I like. I look for something not too big and simple. My favorites are french hook styles that dangle. Thanks for the chance!!!!

Liz said...

Simple design, not too big, but definitely not too small either :) And a colour that is fun and pretty.

Birgit said...

I tend to prefer the elegant, classic style, but then again sometimes I just love the fun and unusual things. :) I found that hooks work best for me. As for colors, I love the blue to green range (green eyes here). :)

Greetings from Munich,
Birgit

Hi,
Just found this today.

I look for uniqueness in a piece of jewelry...the more unique it is the better. Also, most of my jewelry is simple, with just a dash of color. It also has to be "small" as when I wear it, I'm usually working, and I own a farm.

I followed your blog.

And... I blogged about the giveaway, though it may be a little too late for that...LOL. I posted it to my livejournal blog and here's the link

Thanks
